The ground edge and the exact geometry of the drills make holes that are rounded on the outside and burr free on the inside. Use of hardened 440C stainless steel with a TiN coating make for strength with long wear life.
Edge Geometry
The polymers of different catheters need their own geometry for best results. This geometry is
determined by our lab while making samples for your specific application.
Ground Edge
The fine sharpness of the drills is achieved by grinding. This allows the drill to cut
cleanly with minimal resistance.
